Pureware 16 Piece Stainless Steel Cookware Set

Perfect Cooking Set!
I absolutely love this cookware set! I love cooking, this is my first personal set of pots and pans and on top of being practical, easy to use, and clean, they are beautiful and stylish encouraging me to cook more and show them off! I love it and can't believe the price especially when compared to other sets. I haven't found a set as practical, fashionable, and reliable all in one for anywhere near this price!

Sturdy, non-stick and fashionable
I'm a huge cook. I spend a lot of my time in the kitchen. Food is so important to my friends and I, so I felt the need to invest into a solid set of cookware for when I moved. What I like about this set in particular is that the grime from food does not stick to the bottom of the pan after cooking, which is awesome for the durability of the set and also cleanliness/sanitation too--love that. Secondly, it is also so easy to clean the pans and bowls, which I was previously nervous about. Quick minute and everything is washed thoroughly and put to dry, which I love since I'm a very busy person. Best of all, the pots and pans are sleek and look sweet in my kitchen!!! No more rusty old pans that look like they've been inherited by my grandparents. Love that I have a modern looking kitchen, and stoked that I get major props from people when I cook potlucks and the likes. Overall, very grateful for this set! An awesome investment for anyone of any cooking ability!

Extremely practical
This cookware set is absolutely amazing!!! I was looking for a large cookware set with great value for price, and this set was so reasonably priced that I went for it. It has exceeded my expectations by far, to say the least! I put the pots and pans to use every day and they are incredibly durable and practical, also very beautifully designed! I've received a lot of compliments on the stainless steel and beautiful wood handles. A much more reliable set than anything I've found, and this set honestly should be higher priced. I can't believe what a great deal I got with this one!!

Michael Graves DesignTM Fondue Set

Pretty, but a pain
Aside from the other reviewers' complaints about the lack of recipes or instructions, having used this with a standard sterno can or tea-candle, I can attest that the little incredient cups are a bit too small, and trying to clean the pot (especially after using cheese) is extremely difficult. We quite literally cut our wrists tryint to scrub the interior out. The top opening is sharp with little notches, so you really have to watch out with your sponge and bare wrists. We're not sure if we'll ever use this again- and most certainly would not recommend it unless it's on sale.

Instructions
I recieved this as a wedding gift several years ago, and had not attempted to use this item since then. Upon opening the box the week prior to New Year's I discovered there were no instructions. Having zero fondue experience I wanted to obtain these. I assumed that I would be able to locate them on the web, but couldn't. Per other users suggestions, I emailed a representative at Michael Graves to assist me. They did send the directions via email, however it was after New Year's and I was forced to purchase a set with instructions for the party. I will post a following of the instructions that Michael Graves sent me:

1) Place fondue set on a heat-resistant, level tabletop or other sturdy, flat surface.

2) Place canned fuel in stand before lighting in center with a match.

3) For best results, prepare the fondue in the fondue pot on the stove top on low heat, then carefully transfer pot to the stand with the burner lit.

4) Make sure pot...

This pot is great even if you don't know what you are doing.
I agree with the other reviewers that it does not take a rocket scientist. I, myself, had not used a fondue pot in years when I purchased this one. I had no problem making it work. I located a fuel holder at target (just down the isle from the pot) and purchased it as an add- on. I also bought a fondue cookbook and found sterno at a local sporting goods store. I added oil and let it heat up slowly in the pot itself, chopped up some meats, filled the dishes with great dips and was ready to go....
It is brilliant! I love the revolving sauce dishes. As those of you that entertain know, it is all about simplicity. This allows every guest to choose the sauce they desire without having to get up or move the dishes around. I do recommend that if you are using this for cheese, that you grease the inside for easy clean up.

OvenStuff Non-Stick 14.5 Inch x 10.5 Inch x 2 Inch Two Piece Fat-A-Way Roast and Broil Pan

Disappointing
This pan looked great and the price was great, but the coating is already peeling off, less than a year after purchase and I only use it 2-3 times per year. If you're looking for a great product that lasts, keep looking!

satisfied with this broiler
We're happy with the broiler, we use it to cook all our meat. It meets our expectatons. the price was fair.

Inferior Product
The broiler pan is very disappointing. The top section warped in the oven the first time it was used and then did not go back to its original shape. Every other flat pan in our house warps too, but they always resume their original shape when they cool. We have tried bending it back, but it will probably never be the same. Shoddy merchandise.

Nordic Ware 12-Inch Skillet Extraordinaire

Awesome skillet!
This skillet is amazing. It's very high quality, the likes of which a chef at a restaurant would use. Nothing sticks to it, and it cooks things real nice. If you demand the best out of your cookware, go with this brand.

Nice stuff... BUT not appropriate for smooth cooktops
This Pro Cast line from Nordic Ware is NICE! That's why I'm so disappointed that I can't use it. The bottom is not flat, but has round, raised, rough spots all over. Not smooth cooktop compatible.

This would have been good to know BEFORE ordering. I've contacted the manufacturer as well. Online descriptions need to note this information.

Love this Made in the USA Skillet!
I looked long and hard for a made in the USA skillet just because I believe our quality standards well exceed many of the countries that make most of the famous Chef skillets and well-known brands and I finally found Nordic Ware. I also didn't want to spend a lot of money on non-stick pans when they really have a limited life-span with all the wear-and-tear of normal cooking. This pan fit both criteria. Don't need any oil or butter really, except for flavoring because the food didn't stick to the pan. I've browned meat in the skillet and am pleased with the overall results. What I really like is the heat is well distributed throughout the entire pan and I don't have to adjust meat pieces in order to evenly brown them. Easy to clean as well.

Portmeirion Botanic Garden Roaster

Cracked 1st time
I got this piece and couldn't wait to try it out. In the oven it went at 325 degrees and BOOM, crack. To say I am disappointed is an understatement. I would return it, but it is a broken dangerous mess.

I use Portmeirion everyday, all year.
The latest piece that I've used is this roaster. I baked 6 enchiladas in it at 350 and they turned out very well. There was no sticking and after dishing out the food, the roaster went into the dishwasher. The Botanic garden pattern can be used as everyday china but also looks great dressed up with silverware and the special serving pieces that I unwrap each special occasion meal.

Mauviel M'Heritage M150B 6526.26 10.4-Inch Round Frying Pan with Bronze Handle

Great Pan
The pan is expensive, yeah, but its well worth it. The copper's sensitivity to heat is both a blessing and a burden. The disadvantage is getting used to the pan and to recipes. A low heat on copper is similar to medium heat with stainless steel. Also, stainless steel holds residual heat longer, which can be difficult with copper in some recipes that require you to shut the heat off and use the residual heat. The advantage is being able to instantly manipulate the temperature of the whole pan. It is easy to recover from over/under heating with copper. Yet, from experience I understand why copper is a professional's choice...and within a professional's budget. There is a lot of science behind cooking and this pan is a tool. If I don't understand the concept, how can the tool be used efficiently? This amateur learned from trial and error :D

I recommend this pan. I have a lot of memories with mine after three years and I am looking forward to using this the rest of...

Item Not As Described - Also, looks refurbished
Item delivered is not the 2mm, 10.4" pan. It is 1.5mm thick, 10.2".

Item arrived with a quarter-sized blemish and a few scratches in the copper (external surface). Also had fingerprints, which is strange in an item sold as new.

Amazon "Customer service" has no mechanism for me to exchange this for one actually described.
This was out-of-stock and took 4 weeks to arrive.
