Works Beautifully
This steamer insert works great for steaming all sorts of things. I had one that was made by a different company and it didn't fit snug enough and the water would boil up the sides of my stockpot. The All-Clad fits perfectly and forces the steam through the bottom instead of allowing it to escape up the sides and actually steams food faster.
Copper Core Pots
This is a nice looking product, but it does NOT fit All Clad Copper Core pots
and to second those who commented about Made in China and thickness... Yes it is made in China and Yes it is Thinner that the pot it goes into...
