Nice little pot for the money
No !! Don't purchase this if your looking for All Clad or Le Creuset. This little pot is not for you....but if your looking for a small size easy to use small sized pot---than this IS for you !!!

Sometimes I am only cooking for one or I am making a small portion of something. That is why I purchased this.I have used it several times since I purchased it. Mostly for my steamed / boiled shrimp. I am a seafood nut...and this Dutch Oven as the manufacture refers to it is just perfect.I also used it to boil some eggs for my tunafish sandwichs.

I did not need a large nor heavy pot or pan for these tasks.Its large covered handles make it so easy to move around , take to the sink , drain or hold your foods after cooking.Also for these tasks ---I want something cute and fun that works....not a 100 year life span pot or pan like you need for heavy duty cooking. This would not be the piece for that sort of cooking.
This dutch oven is not made of the finast materials...

versatile little cooking pot
I wanted a cooking pot larger than a saucepan but smaller than a standard dutch oven. This pan is the perfect size. It holds three ears of corn nicely. My plastic steamer insert fits inside it. It doesn't hog the stove burners. It does have a nonstick finish which requires using non-metal utensils, and it is not a heavy weight pot. I'd never use it to saute or fry food, but it's great for vegetables, pasta, and steaming. The one thing I don't like is that the hollow handles intake water when I wash the pot and it dribbles out when I set it in the dish drainer. It's a minor annoyance. I don't think this little dutch oven will last for a lifetime but it's inexpensive enough that I'll purchase another when this one breaks or the nonstick finish wears out.

Dutch Oven
This a very nice piece and perfect for a single person or couple. I used it to make spaghetti and it was not difficult to drain the pasta. I love the finish inside, it is smooth and I feel it will last a long time.
