Not 52 oz capacity, as described
Although this casserole is very attractive and appears to be of good quality, I was extremely disappointed by it's size. Was looking for a casserole that was larger than this, since I already had this size. But decided to keep it as I didn't want to pay to return.
To give you a better sense of it's size, the bottom, measured inside, is just under 5" x 5". The top rim measurement is just under 7" x 7". The color of the photo on the site represents the actual color very well.
See the 2 attached photos - that's exactly 48 oz of water to which I added blue food coloring, so you could see it's capacity. There's no way another 4 oz could fit into this piece (without spilling onto the counter). For most casseroles, you'd typically allow at least an inch space at the top. So realistically, you couldn't cook more than 32-38 oz in it.
